4. Tap Light decor/Activities
I like keeping camping lights on the wall all of the time and switching out the visuals! This way, the routine stays the same, but the activities and goals can vary!
5. Interactive Inferencing

Once I came up with the idea of hands-on & relatable inferencing for older students, I saw it’s potential to become part of the routine for working on this important goal!
6. Tier 2 Vocabulary Lesson

Personally, I feel that tier 2 vocabulary is an extremely important area to incorporate into our SLP routine on a daily basis. Why? Because tier 2 vocabulary is academic and occurs across the curriculum. These are words our students see all of the time in directions, passages, tests, and much more!

7. Exit Slips

Last but not least, this is probably my favorite routine for the end of each session. Not only does it allow you to assess student understanding in a quick and easy way, but it also helps to facilitate review and carryover! What’s not to love?
