Call me biased, but I’d say speech-language pathologists are a pretty special group of people. SLPs tend to be caring, empathetic, organized, hard-working, and…the list goes on! Sometimes we have a reputation for various personality traits and preferences, and I’m curious to know if YOU think they’re true!
Let’s begin our little True or False Game…SLP Edition!
1. SLPs love color-coding!
True or false? I’ll admit that I happen to love it!

2. SLPs collect functional visuals (that also happen to be pretty…)
(C’mon, look me in the eye and tell me that you DON’T have a collection of visuals!)

Interactive Tap Light Decor (200 + pages of activities!)
Older Student Handouts (Intervention, Development, Students, Family, Staff)
3. SLPs prefer meaningful, over random, stimulus words!
Example – practicing the word “radish” vs. a student’s name “Sarah” for the /r/ sound).
I’ve never had a student bring a radish to speech, so I’m leaning more towards functional /r/ words!

Articulation Affirmation Exit Slips
(These are all a part of the Older Student Articulation Bundle which is discounted by 20%!)
4. The best days are when students enjoy learning, and it all clicks!
Well, we all know this is just a plain FACT!

5. SLPs are passionate about helping others find their voice.

One thing I can say that is most DEFINITELY true, is that you are an incredible SLP.
I hope you enjoyed this fun, little game! Thanks for stopping by and for all that you do each day to help others.
