Her innovative packet provides highly motivating and low-prep activities to help children target the phonological process of /s/ cluster reduction or traditional articulation of /s/ blends. I have many of her wonderful materials and am so excited to bring this burst of targeted creative play into my sessions!
Social Emotional Control for Problem Solving (by SLP Runner)
I also find that many of my students need help with social emotional control and problem-solving skills throughout the course of the year. That is why I’m definitely buying SLP Runner’s Social Emotional Control for Problem Solving. This packet contains thoughtful visuals, detailed instructions and smart activities to help children understand and manage their emotions in the context of a variety of realistic problems.

I always strive to engage in evidence-based practice (which is one of the reasons why I created Exit Slips). I’m looking forward to checking out Nicole Allison’s Evidence-Based Intervention packet. I appreciate that she has done all the hard work for me!
